Some friends of mine hosted a blessing shower for me as they showered prayers of blessings on me and our soon to be daughter, Sally Marie! The theme was a tea party and this was one of my favorite gifts..."A cup of Blessings"....where everyone at the shower wrote a sweet note to me or to sally and so each time i drink a cup of this english tea, i can read it and remember this day and how loved and prayed for we are. I plan on putting this in her room and one day when she is older taking her out for tea and talking about this special day, my mother and her heritage that is before her.....
Honestly, it was at this shower that i felt i really bonded with her....and saw her as my daughter, Sally. This whole pregnancy, i have either been sick, waiting on a little toddler, preparing for her arrival or being by my mother's side before her death and i have not really bonded with her...and sally was my mother's name, so at times i have been hesitant to call her this....but it was at the shower as it focused on her and these women surrounded me in prayer that it became real....a precious time, thank you so much, ladies!!! You all love me so well in each of your special ways....thank you for what you gave me and my daughter this day!
Our new Double Stroller!!! wow! We are officially a family! Wesley-Grant has been pushing Elmo and big bird around getting ready to help with his little sister!
We were just about to go buy one and a friend of mine called me up and asked if she could give us this! wow! i know God has provided like this over and over...we should expect it by now...but everytime, it is always a shock and awe reaction!! But isn't that like our Heavenly Father to always want to surprise his children with more than they could ask or imagine! Eph. 3:20-21

We told her she may want us to train him a little more before she marries him! ha! Matt and Laura, your daughters are so precious!!

Update
I went to the doctor today and i haven't progressed anymore...yeah! so we are going to keep me on light bed rest until next week and then see again. So many people have helped us in huge ways, but i have to say that my husband has been the most help of all. I am blown away at how he has jumped in places that i didn't know i needed him. Just today he said he hired a woman needing work to clean our house/do laundry once a week for the next 3 months. There is an emotion that stirs within me for him that i can't describe....when i am weak and he is stepping in to be strong...it is very humbling to let him, but then maybe that is where the LORD is trying to teach us something new.....
please continue prayers as we are both going through "transition" in many different ways.
we love you all!
