Hey everyone! We leave for Monterrey Mexico today! We are going to see the Crawfords and have some vacation time with them!! We are so excited!! We'll be sure to post some pictures of the trip when we get back!

 

We took Rachel and Wendi to GUS's WORLD FAMOUS chicken place!! Yum Yum, GOOD! The girls came to visit this weekend here! We LOVED having them!!!

Back to the steps....
WesleyGrant is feeling better and back to practicing his first steps!!! He gets so excited about walking!!! We are so proud of him!!
WesleyGrant teaches us so many things, but lately as i watch him practice walking i am reminded of my own walk with Christ. WesleyGrant stands up, holds his hands up, smiles and concentrates....then one step at a time he goes....
Sometimes he falls and sometimes he makes it all the way to the end goal....but no matter what, he claps and we clap b/c we know that it took great courage and hope to step into something he was unsure of. I think a lot of his confidence comes from me and stew looking on and watching him, smiling...looking straight into his eyes and seeing him as a walker...what he will be one day, not what he is at that moment....and he also knows that if he falls, we will catch him, or if he hurts himself in the fall, we will be there to sustain and comfort him in this pain. He trusts our love for him and he steps.....
Isaiah 41:10
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you for I am your God. I will strengthen you , surely I will help you. Surely I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Elmo....

Elmo has been WesleyGrant's favorite thing in the past few months...everywhere we go...grocery stores, shops, ect... He can spot elmo! Stew and i sing elmo songs in the morning at breakfast...what a site to see!!! It gets a little crazy in the stewart household when it comes to Elmo, but we cherish this stage of wesley grant's life and know that one day elmo won't be the greatest excitement. Our prayer is that ,one day, WesleyGrant would light up and delight everywhere we go in the eternal things...in Christ....this is our highest desire for him. But for now, elmo is a pretty cool guy around our house. =)

WesleyGrant has had an ear infection/virus/teething and not feeling his usual self. It has been so sad, but he is such a trooper and starting to feel much better.
