My sweet Sally
From the moment i set eyes on her in the hospital i was overwhelmed with unexpressive emotions.....in the quiet moments, when it is just she and i, i can't help but have tears stream down my face... somewhat expressing the emotions that tie up within me. If you ask me what i am feeling, i can't tell you.... life given to me in the midts of grieving a death creates emotions that one can't capture in words....my mother would be so proud of her granddaughter and i know she would say, "kimberly, she is perfect..." And she is, a perfect gift from the LORD....how precious is our LORD's timing...he knew when sally would be born and when my mother would die...he comforts in unimaginable ways.
I look at the picture i've shared before of me and my mother and wonder if she felt this way when i was born....she had no clue that one day that baby would be by her side helping her enter eternity and trusting God for that moment. I wonder, as i look at Sally Marie what she would be for me one day....she has already given so much.
I am so weak these days, but yet so strong....the gift of a child is priceless....all God's gifts are priceless in every step we take....
