Wesleygrant is becoming my little helper! As he has gotten older, he really enjoys helping me with Sally. He loves getting her pacifier....when she is crying, he always gets a toy or her blanket for her...He wanted he and sally to wear hats today....he helps me bathe her and get her clothes. Of course, with much supervision! He isn't really gentle with her....but he loves to hug and kiss her.
My favorite is when i give him her diaper to throw away and he takes them to the trash while saying..."YUKY" really loud! hilarious!

BIG STEPS for our little girl today!
She rolled over by herself today! We got it on video, but i haven't downloaded it, so the before and after pictures will have to do for now. She was so proud of herself, too...she would laugh and get so excited about it! Wesleygrant and I and stew all cheered her on and we made her do it over and over....i think she got tired of us after a while.

Last night, Stew and I watched this documentary on the lives of the 5 missionaries in the Amazon of Ecuador. Jim, Nate, Ed, Pete and Roger with their families followed the Lord with their ordinary lives and God brought great glory for Himself through their steps. It is very powerful and gives more details than the recent movie that came out, "End of the Spear". You gotta check both of these out! You can find both of these at Blockbuster!

These are our friends, Jason and Jenny Ford! They live a street down from us and it has been so fun hanging out! Jason just recently got a new job in North Austin, so we had them over to celebrate! We had a blast! Stew wrote them a song and we had dinner and lots of fun!
It is actually the Ford's "fault" that we are here in Austin! =) We love you guys!

The Children's Museum in Austin! It is right near our apartment!

WesleyGrant had an adventure of his own. This bird came right by and took one of his crackers...as you can see wesleygrant is completely confused! haha! And then, at the park this squirrel came right up to him and stood up on 2 legs and was chattering at him, or whatever squirrels do?! It was so hilarious!

We had a great time! It is really beautiful around us, though we are in the city!

Me and the kids decided to get out and explore our area! It was a fun adventure!

Hebrews 13:9 says, "Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by ceremonial foods, which are of no value to those who eat them."

It has been a long year for me. And as I start a new journey here in Austin, it causes me to look back to the last 10 months. This new transition, in a place that i cannot yet call "comfortable", brings my heart to a place of vulnerability in many ways. I am learning that it is by grace that my heart might be strengthend now, not by my works or abilities. How good it is to hear these words in Hebrews as I find more fault with myself than good. How amazing that our God sees us, who are sealed in Christ, as His beloved, fully accepted to the praise of His glory. And that no work of us will ever be recorded for the purpose of our identity. For our identity is in Christ and will be forever.
11 Timothy 2:1 " You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus."

Right now, I am finding that it is good for my heart to be strendgthend by grace.....

Sally is really starting to use her hands and legs and sitting a little...she LOVES wesleygrant!

The kids are doing good. They've both had lots of allergies, but the snotty noses are starting to dry up. Here's a few pics of their first week in Austin. The kiddos are watching elmo while eating snacks....our poor children. =)

We are downtown, but on a creek where there are lots of trees. We look out our porch and see trees and then drive out of the apartment and look up at the city skyline...so crazy! It has been a great place so far!
We have a HUGE porch that wesleygrant LOVES playing on!
Wesleygrant loves his room and own bathroom!!
Jason and Jenny Ford have helped us so much! they went to San Marcas with us to get these bar chairs and then put them together for us!! wow! we've loved spending time with them! They live one block over from us!

Our new home in Austin! We are one block from downtown!! We went walking across the river and to the children's museum yesterday and had a blast! Several people from Austin Stone have been bringing us meals and hanging out with us. We have enjoyed it a lot!

Yes, that is Sally in the middle of all the boxes! She was asleep!! haha!!
The Packing! It was very interesting packing with 2 little ones, but we did it with so many people helping!

Our final day in memphis, we didn't get much pictures, but we spent it with Donnie, the Hoffs, the Pinkstaffs and many others who came to help load the truck. My brother flew down and drove the truck for us! (he works for FedEx) and was a HUGE help! We spent a week at my dad's and grandparents and then arrived at Austin last Friday. Our goodbyes seemed too quick and that was hard, but we know that though we have left, our friendships still remain. We miss all of you dearly!
Donnie!! We love and miss you so much!!! You are our favorite guy in Memphis!! We miss you so much!!!

Laura and I and the kiddos!

These are some of my dearest friends. We got together last night and they prayed for me as we look to start a new journey in Austin. It was such a rich time. Thank you ladies! These friendships go back as far back as 10 years! These women have been an amazing inspiration to me and always timely on pointing me to Christ! I love each of you and will miss you so much! But be looking for that phone call/email because I still need you on this next journey!!! I love you ladies!

We thought Wesleygrant could demonstrate for you my typical day yesterday....hilarious!
