Today we started our Christmas Calendar and talked about Jesus being our king, so being that Wesleygrant loves hats, we made crowns...and of course, Wesleygrant wanted Sally to have one too.....and we attempted to put them together to take a cute picture, but i think this one portrays our life a little better! Nothing is picture perfect!! This picture is so hilarious to us, because it captures both of our kids as they are.
It was emotional for Stew and I to begin these traditions of Christmas with the kiddos today...how precious it is to train a child in the Lord and to give them the truth about life. May we all begin to focus on Jesus, our King as the Christmas season begins.

The concept of Christmas took an interesting turn when Macy said, "Happy Birthday Christmas Tree," and then started singing happy birthday to my friend Kristin (whose name may sound a lot like "Christmas" to a two-and-a-half year old). She is funny.
too fun! We use the noel piper advent cal as well : ) it's great for the kiddos!! So...Sally looks like she is STANDING in that pic??!!!
Hey Kimberly...this is totally unrelated : ), but couldn't find your email address. I'm wondering if ya'll have any connections in the Dallas area still?? AND if you do...if you know anybody that would have room in their home and the desire to open their home to a DTS student for about 6 mo. He's moving from up here to down there this wk. He has a place to stay until Feb or March I think. But that place will not be available from Feb/March to Aug (I think) because they have family coming in from out of the country. Anyhow, thought it would be worth asking for him!!! : ) I couldn't find Shalen's email address on her blog, but thought maybe you might know how to contact her to see if they know anybody : ) He's a great guy - his name is Will. That is awesome what you guys are teaching the kiddos. However, on another note, Sally's facial expression is HILARIOUS! I just keep laughing. :)
