Mr. TODDLER!!!
Yes, that is his name! Does he not look guilty of it! =) He has every symptom of them. I am reading a book "Toddlerwise" and making phone calls to my friend Brandi Holbrook and that is getting me through this season. But, truly, i am being pruned during this season of my parenting. By God's grace, one day, i pray this little boy with so much vigor will be leading people to the LORD. And one day those toddler symptoms will no longer be....but only Christ will be. I love my little toddler!

I am learning to be thankful for toddler years.

What a cutie... He and Claire together could probably rule the world! They said it really does get easier... we'll see.
It makes me so happy to see him in Caleb's batman pjs!
ahhh...well said, mommy!!! I was in bed last night thinking about your post...thankful to hear other mom's struggling with the toddler years!!! And just thought I'd let you know I was thankful for you sharing!!! Parenting is the HARDEST thing we'll ever do....I'm almost certain of it!!!
We just did a parenting seminar at our church, and it was almost so convicting and challenging I didn't want to go back for more
: ( BUT that wasn't an option : ) So, the other option was to receive it all knowing that we are sinners saved by GRACE and that our children's outcome is not dependent on us....God is sovereign, and as we trust Him to guide and lead our parenting, He will do so....and He will guide our children's hearts according to His perfect will!!!
Hmmmm...this quote by Paul Tripp in the Age of Opportunity (pg18) sums it up, I'd say!
"It is my experience that when parents begin to recognize, own, confess, and turn from their own wrong heart attitudes and the wrong actions that flow from them, the result is a marked difference in their relationship to their (child) and in the way they view the struggles of the (childhood) years. When we look with concerned eyes toward the (childhood) years, we need to look not only at our children, but also at ourselves. Parents who are humbly willing to change, position themselves to be God's instruments of change."
